Offered here for your consideration is a beautiful Sioux catlinite pipe with beautiful inlay work, displaying arrows on the bottom.
There is a quilled pipe stem with old ribbonwork, and dyed horse hair trailers.
The quillwork is still beautiful, full of color, and intact. Red, orange, and blue quills, very very beautiful and strong in color.
Provenance: Identified as a Sioux made pipe and pipestem, this was collected from the Nez Perce Reservation in 1988.
