2 standard size chrome postcards from the 1960s show views of State Street and Randolph Street, the theater district in Chicago, Illinois. Both postcards are unused and in excellent - very good condition with light corner / edge wear. Busy main streets.

First card shows a night view of Randolph Street. People and cars are along the street. Signs include Bensinger Billiards, Art Goods, Cafeteria, Allgauer's Heidelberg restaurant, Hargrave Secret Service, Hotel Sherman, Vaughan's Seeds - Pets - Toys, South Pacific Restaurant. Theater marquee at left is showing Gone With the Wind; theatres at right are showing The Big Show and Return of Peyton Place dating this card to 1961. Photo by Penrod Studio.
