An Edwardian Satinwood Chest of Drawers

A great Looking Piece in a classic style

A larger sized incredibly well made chest

A Really nice piece with two drawers to the top and three graduating drawers below

Each drawer has brass backplates loop pull handles

It has reeding across each of the drawers

The top has lovely beading around the edges

It has a flat panel to each side

It’s sat on nice deep moulded skirting all the way round with

It's been lightly used and is in really good condition

The finish of the timber is in good order I have given it a good wax polish and its come up really well

It’s a a very well made piece and ready to use

Items to note

As with all items of age they can show signs of ware and use but they can also have a huge amount of character that you may not always find in newer pieces

There is a bit of marking here and and there around the the bottom and sides ( see photos )

There is a little marking to the front of the drawers here and there and a couple of aged light scratches etc ( see photos )

The top has a few aged marks here and there and some black possible ink marks to the front ( see photo )

One side has had a bit of expansion so has separated on the seem ( see photo )

The bottom drawer has one of it’s original handles missing but does have a fully working drop in place but with no backplate ( see photo )

The chest is a great looking very well made , heavy , very useful piece
