A Really Good Looking Arts and Crafts Style Bureau
Could have a variety of uses as either Desk or Bookcase
I’m a really nice medium polished walnut finish
Very pretty typical arts and crafts pierced return to the top
under the top there is a central opening with nicely shaped drawer to each side
There is then a drop down panelled door revealing a desk top and sectioned interior , with the pen and inkwell holder still in place
Below this there are two shelves for books
Sat on nicely shaped sides with splayed legs at the bottom
It must be said that this is in immaculate condition inside ( sed photos )
It’s seen a bit of life but has tons of character
It is in a lovely warm finish , I’ve given it a polish and it’s come up really well
It's been used but is still in good condition and still has plenty to offer
A super little table that could fit in well in various different environments and rooms
Items to note
As with all items of age they can show signs of ware and use but they can also have a huge amount of character that you may not always find in newer pieces
The top has some ring marks on it here and there ( see photo )
There is a little fading to the bottom of the legs in places ( see photo )
There is the odd mark here and and there ( see photos ) but nothing major just through age and use etc
On one drawer there are three aged woodworm holes , this is long gone and hasn’t spread anywhere else ( see photo )

Overall a lovely looking bureau
