Rare 1960's 3D Channel Tunnel Model 3 Dimensional Diorama Viewer Sealed Unopened

This is an Amazing Vintage 3-D Viewer Model Kit from the 1960's - Made in England by Spinney Products.  This lovely Old Item is Unopened and remains sealed on its Retail Card with Instructions.  This Kit is designed to open out in a Concertina / Folding Bellows fashion to produce quite a long Peepshow Style Diorama.  The Front of the Viewer has eye holes to look through to View a Three Dimensional Scene of the Imagined Undersea Tunnel of the Future.

Back in 1957 attempts were made to revive the interest in a Channel Tunnel , and in April 1959 test bores were sunk on the English side. At this time there was no government backing so the idea remained in the realms of science fiction or as here to the imagination of toy makers.  The Kit gives a 3D View of how the Channel Tunnel would look in the distant ffuture.  ‘2000 AD! Look into the Future with the Channel Tunnel Model in 3 Dimension ...’  The tunnel visualised here included road transport and twin ' Monorails ' - a single track mode of transport thought to be the thing of the future. 

The Kit is Unopened and Comes Still Sealed in the Original Plastic Envelope and is Still Attached to the Original Retail Backing Card.   The Backing Card is very old so has some slight signs pf age and storage wear.. To give an idea of size the front plate of the Viewer measures 6" x 4".
