How to have the keyboard Type in British English  

1. Attach the Smart Folio to your iPad. 2. Turn on Bluetooth (Settings > Bluetooth). 3. Pair the keyboard (tap its name, enter the on-screen code). 4. Go to *Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard*. 5. Select *British English* (or any layout you want). 6. Start typing — your iPad will produce perfect British English characters
