This is a fantastic cymbal and sounds immense! I had the crack drilled at each end and it’s been no issue since then. Actually adds some extra sizzle which is very nice.
I guess if you’re a hard hitter then this might not be for you, but I’ve used it as a crash/ride in funk and for such an application I don’t ever see the crack ever being an issue.
