This Cobalt Blue Cake Stand and Dome Lid combo is absolutely stunning. It is a fine example of classic Mid-Century Modern design with a ribbed cobalt blue base with its textured bottom section, and crystal ribbed dome with ball handle. May double as a bowl pedestal (use with caution).
Measures approx: 11 in plate diameter, 4.25 in cake stand height (without lid), 11 in tall (with lid used as a cake stand); 8.75 in tall (as bowl with blue pedestal reversed), 10.25 in dome rim diameter; weight 6 lb 15 oz.
Clean and in excellent condition. Small notable wear can be seen in the last TEN photos: normal shelf wear to the under bottom rim of the base; utensil wear most notably on the center surface of the plate; two notches on the rim of the plate (appears to be a manufactural defect); the bottom rim of the dome lid has teensy indiscernible chips (barely visible but can be felt if you feel along the rim); two tiny dark spots on one rib of the rim; a couple minor scuffs to the glass (the most noticeable of which can be seen against the light in the last photo).
