(wiki) Douglas “Mac” Mac Monagle, 25, born1892 in San Francisco, California, educated at the Hackley School, Tarrytown, New York; Berkeley School, California, University of California. MacMonagle entered military service in December, 1915 and in September, 1916 left the Field Service to enlist in the French Aviation Corps where he became a Pilot attached to the Lafayette Escadrille Aero Squadron.
