Michael Brown formed The Montage after leaving The Left Banke (Don't Walk Away Renee).  The Montage had a similar psych baroque sound, but only lasted for a single album, released in 1969.  Both of these sides are included on that self-titled album.  This is a promo copy, released on the stock Laurie label stamped "Not For Sale", as opposed to the more common "Advance Release" label used by Laurie for promos.  Styrene copy.  Vinyl grades VG++: very clean copy with a few light marks on the "Mary" side that cannot be felt and do not affect playback; excellent gloss; excellent player.  Labels grade VG++: light initials and the date 4/8/68 written on one side; otherwise unmarked with bright, clear graphics and logo; solid red, gray and white color.  Two excellent sides of late 60's pop psych.
