Birmingham Silver And Guilloche Enamel Clothes Brush Purple And White 1926

Elegant small clothes or vanity brush with ornate silver surround and guilloché enamel top in purple and white. The brush bears clear Birmingham hallmarks for 1926 with maker’s mark “L&S” (Levi & Salaman). It has stiff natural bristles and a decorative scalloped edge typical of Art Deco styling. Guilloché enamel silver grooming accessories were fashionable during the early 20th century, often sold in dressing table sets.

Condition

With some tarnish and wear to the silver commensurate with age. The enamel surface shows light marks but no major chips or cracks visible. Bristles are intact but show signs of use and slight discolouration.
