Kit. The T172 was built from 1961-67. With a 17 hp engine, two-speed gearbox, a new hydraulically operated boom in sheet metal construction and twin tyres on the rear axle, it was a further development of the T170.
The filigree, detailed printed kit reproduces a prototype in blue-grey paintwork, matching our theme of fuel trading. The front axle can be steered, the body can be rotated 360° and the boom can be tilted.
This is extended by an intermediate piece, true to the original, and can be equipped with either a hook, tine grab or shell gripper.
Due to the longer boom, it can be used to feed the hopper silos of coal loading (Art. 11 466).
For loading onto a low-side car, single tyres for the drive axle are included. Elaborately printed: tow bar and warning beacons on the crane superstructure.
