1. Drill the Mounting Hole
Choose your mounting location on the truck bed wall or panel.
Use a 7/8" drill bit to create a clean hole through the surface.
Ensure the hole is free of burrs or debris so the toggle wings can pass through smoothly.
2. Prepare the Anchor Assembly
Fold the toggle wings flat against the threaded shaft of the bolt.
Thread the wings onto the bolt so they’re positioned just behind the eye loop and washer.
Hold the wings in the folded position with one hand.
3. Insert the Anchor Through the Hole
Push the folded wings through the drilled hole until they pass completely behind the panel.
Once through, the wings will automatically spring open behind the surface, forming a secure anchor.
4. Tighten the Eye Bolt
Pull gently on the eye loop to seat the wings flush against the back of the panel.
Begin tightening the bolt by hand, then use a wrench or socket to snug it down.
Stop when the eye loop is firmly seated against the surface — do not overtighten.
Tug on the eye loop to confirm it’s secure.
Loop your strap, rope, or hook through the eye bolt and begin anchoring your gear with confidence.
