KIX were a five-piece hard rock and heavy metal band from Hagerstown, MD, who exploded onto the scene in the late 80s with their fourth Atlantic Records album Blow My Fuse. Building on that success, they returned with Hot Wire in 1991 and it had radio hits like 'Girl Money' and hard-rocking tracks such as 'Same Jane' and the title track. Originally a CD-only release - aside from a rare German pressing - Hot Wire is now officially available on vinyl for the first time and has been newly mastered by Joe Reagoso. It's a cult rock classic that should not be slept on whether you're new to it or a long-time admirer.
