Here we have a very nice Griswold ERIE #7 Cast Iron Skillet. This would be considered a 6th series due to the lack of " " around ERIE and the inset heat ring. This pan would date from 1905-1907. Pan is in very nice condition as shown. Bottom writing are crisp and clean and the cooking surface has a rougher texture due to moisture deterioration. This looks worse than it feels and would fill in with use. Has a VERY small movement on our glass top stove (about 1/32") NOT a spinner.
Has been cleaned via electrolysis and seasoned 1 time with my own blend of all natural Pennsylvania beeswax, crisco and olive oil. It has also been wiped down with a thin coat of food grade mineral oil to help prevent environmental rusting.
