Most stock flywheels are heavy cast iron and are designed for optimum drivability by storing some of the engine’s power in the form of inertia. Light flywheels provide significantly improved engine response and acceleration by compromising drivability. Competition Clutch's lightweight flywheels are designed for improving engine response, strength and affordability.
This flywheel is recommended for naturally aspirated and/or street driven applications. This flywheel will work with all performance and stock clutch assemblies.

- Stamped with 4140 plate with 2000 ton pressure at 1260 degrees
- CNC machined and balanced to O.E. specifications
- Reduced Mass = Increased Acceleration
- Meets and exceeds SFI 1.5
The Competition Clutch Ultra Lightweight Steel Flywheels (STU suffix) are recommended for forced induction and/or track, road racing, and rally racing applications. This flywheel is machined with less material to assist in quicker revving capabilities. It is well-suited for Stage 3 and up clutch applications.
