Includes:
  • VIDC Enhancer PCB
  • Software supplied by email (please message us with your email address)
Three position switch.
The middle switch position disables the AutoVIDC enhancer (VIDC clocked at the standard 24MHz). The switch is switched to one side for AutoVIDC always on (VIDC clocked 36MHz), or the other side for software control of AutoVIDC.

The switch can be mounted in a 6.35mm hole drilled in the case, or as a flying lead out of the back of the case.

The VIDC Enhancer fits onto the Genlock links of PL4 (A4x0/1), PL3A (A310 & A440), or Lk28 & 29 (A3000) and is positioned so that the circuit board covers the rest of the pads of the connector, which in most machine do not have pins fitted. If there are pins fitted then they should be removed. The red flying lead (5V) should be piggy-backed onto the +5V connector (RED) either on the main board or the backplane. Finally if software control is required, the control wire should be clipped onto the Aux1 output on the motherboard. A control switch can be mounted in the case by drilling a small hole or taking the flying lead out of the back of the case. Fitting instructions are included. No soldering required.

The first five 'In-situ' photos show an A310 (A440 will be the same)

The next five 'In-situ' photos show an A440/1

The last five 'In-situ' photos show an A3000
