This emblem was developed in recognition to Mission Operations' unique contribution to the Manned Space Program. The wording of the emblem stresses the attitude to ensure crew safety and mission success. Achievement Through Excellence is the translation from Latin. It represents operations' commitment to a belief in craftsmanship and perseverance and to ensure mission success and the safe return of the crews.
