A beautiful antique blue and white plate made by W. H. Grindley & Co. Ltd, Hanley, Staffordshire, England.
This delicate “Imperial” pattern features fine floral garlands and scrollwork in soft blue transferware on a white glazed earthenware body, finished with a gently moulded scalloped edge — a charming example of late-Victorian English pottery.
The plate carries the “Imperial – Hanley England – 3661” backstamp, dating it to around 1890–1910.
