National Schools in Los Angeles was the first technical school in America focusing on automobiles

Almost 3/4" diameter, metal, has a post (non-threaded) on the reverse side

Maker mark on back is Ritter LA or Ritter GA

Used, as-is.  Some wear, aging patina.  See attached pictures.
