Swedish American Line:  The famous "cushion" ashtray made of Rorstrand porcelain and trimmed in gold.  

The SAL three-crown logo appears on the sides of the 4.75" ashtray.  Underneath is the legend, "Specially Designed for the Swedish American Line." This style of ashtray was used onboard liners such as KUNGSHOLM and GRIPSHOLM.  The accompanying photo shows several in use in the smoking rooms.
