This is an old Russian Orthodox icon. The icon is several centuries old, presumably from the 18th century. This can be assumed primarily on the basis of stylistic criticism. As well as on the basis of the materials used and the technique applied. Furthermore, on the basis that the icon – along with five others listed in my advertisements – belonged to the church-themed collection of an elderly priest, who mainly collected works of this type and age! Furthermore, among the icons advertised in my store, there is one that depicts the Virgin of Kazan (on the back of which the original Russian inscription indicates its 18th century origin).
