All our ducks are carved using recycled bamboo root and teak. We work with one family in Bali Indonesia that we have been working with for over 14 years.

The head and neck tilt in different directions as each duck is different. Hence each duck will vary slightly from the photos as all are hand carved and handmade.

About Us

Fairtrade Lifestyle is a family-run business owned and managed by Peter and Shirley Knight, who manufacture and import a range of lighting, furniture and ethnic craft products from a variety of countries. Our unique offerings are all hand-produced by indigenous crafts people.

The business was founded by Peter when he returned to live in England after living and working for more than 20 years in various countries across the Middle East and Asia and seeing firsthand the effect that some non fair trade business had on local communities and the environment. Peter and Shirley both travel extensively each year supporting the crafts people and communities they work with and developing new products to support the business involved.

Fairtrade Lifestyle has dedicated its business to creating a positive change for the poorest of the poor. This means that fair trade is at the core of every business decision we make.

Shipping & Returns

All items are sent securely package via Royal Mail, DHL, FedEx and UPS most of which are tracked and require a signature on delivery. For larger items we deliver either in our own van or by Pallet depending on the item and postcode. We are happy to combine postage for multiple items however please make contact prior to payment in order for your shipping invoice to be amended accordingly. We do nort ship overseas.

In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your purchase, or if it does not suit your requirements please contact us via eBay using the automated managed returns process. We are happy to offer 30 day returns on all items sold in the store. All items prior to despatch will be thoroughly inspected and a return will only be accepted if the item is received in the same condition.
