A rare and ancient Phra Somdej “Phai Tong” amulet discovered from Wat Wang Na (Front Palace) stupa, dating back to around B.E. 2411 (1868), during the reign of King Rama IV–V period.
This piece is the Phim Phra Prathan Hu Bai Sri (Main Buddha Image with Bai Sri-like ears), highly regarded among collectors for its classic facial expression and sacred clay composition. The amulet was made from a mixture of sacred powders, pollen, lime, and temple soils, following traditional methods of early Somdej production.
The surface shows natural aged texture, soil traces, and beautiful ancient patina, typical of genuine amulets unearthed from old temple stupas.
