Up for sale is a 2013 hardcover book titled About a Mile Away: The Heritage of the Oxley Plains published by Bounce Books and edited by Laura Bovey.
The book contains a local history of the Oxley Plains in Victoria. It documents early settlers, land use, immigrants and the development of small communities including Bobinawarrah, Carboor, Meadow Creek, Markwood, Milawa, Oxley, Oxley Flats. It also includes rolls of soldiers from the First World War.
The book is in excellent, pre-owned condition. The binding is excellent and the pages are clean. There are no inscriptions on or inside the book. The cover has only minor wear; most notably on its front corner (pictured).
