In every ignition period,when e-ignition senses first signal,electrical switch in e-igtnion will turn on automatically,then supply power to ignition coil.when it senses second signal,e-ignition will control ignition coil to ignite.this is the complete ignition process.to set the first sensor position reasonable will make ignition coil get best duty cycle.

The duty cycle of original bike is about 50%,and some e-ignitions you can buy in the market is about 95%.

Too big or too small will be harmful to the bike.too small,it will lack of ignition energy,bad in high rpm.too big,there will be big pressure on e-ignition ,ignition coil,charging system.
