Here is a tabular, doubly terminated “hourglass” selenite crystal from Jet, Oklahoma, U.S.A. The selenite has sharp terminations/edges and has a medium to matte luster. The crystal shows skeletal terminations and sharp edges. The selenite has been included with sand with some transparency around the sides. This crystal is perfect all around (floater) and a textbook example for the location!
