Here is a thick, light sherry colored topaz crystal from Shigar Valley, Shigar District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Unlike the majority of what’s on the market for this particular find, this piece is highly etched on about 3/4 of the crystal. The luster is still there, even on the etched sides, and retains its crystalline finish all around. The smooth sides have well defined, glassy faces. There is a cleft running along the backside which contains sharp, jagged peaks throughout. A nice sized crystal and certainly unique for the locale! Releasing this one from my personal collection.
