BlinkHAT LED diagnostic tool for ASC 344S0063
BlinkHATs is a simple visual tool using LEDs to quickly check if logic signals are present on a particular PLCC integrated circuit. This tool is specifically designed to troubleshoot and rapidly identify connection problems that can occur on vintage computers due to solder joint cracking and PCB corrosion due to leaking capacitors and batteries. BlinkHAT simply clips on a PLCC package, any LED not lit for a critical signal will potentially indicate a severed connection to be investigated. Signals are color-coded in the following way: - Green: Signals dedicated to the system bus.
- Blue: Control signals or signals dedicated to the peripheral interface.
- Red: VCC.
BlinkHAT is protected against wrong insertion or insertion into the incorrect PLCC chip. Power consumption for each I/O pin is under 400µA. This specific BlinkHAT is designed to be used with the 344S0063 ASC (Apple Sound Chip) that is found in many 68k Macintoshes.

Shipping, handling and return
Shipping is done through La Poste courrier service, and will be transferred to your local courrier provider upon arrival in destination country. Free economy shipping is included in the final price to any location worldwide, this service is unregistered. Standard registered courrier service is also available for an extra fee. Delivery time for both services are 10 business day or less within Europe, or within 10-15 days to the US and Canada. Note that these delays are indicative and may sometime be exceeded, up to 4 weeks.
Shipping will be done within three business days from payment receipt, item will be shipped from Paris France.
