The Vivienne Westwood Seditionaries Buckle Shoes are a stylish and edgy pair of slip-on boots in a tan and white colourway. These are vintage and have recently undergone some restoration. One side had split so the leather was unstitched, the canvas fabric reedged by hand sewing then restricting into the leather. On the other, a split was forming in the fabric so it has been reinforced via hand sewing. The canvas itself was quite dull and discoloured so with some shoe colourant, the canvas has been painstakingly hand painted with the white colourant to give it the brighter white look, the leather has been recoloured with leather restored and then beeswax neutral shoe polish applied to protect it. Overall, over five hours of labour went into bringing these back from being unwearable. I think you will agree the work that has been done has been well worth it, it would have been a travesty to not restore these.

These are a small size 7 so maybe better for a size 6.5, the buckle at the top does make them more narrow and with less give than other shoes so please bear this in mind.

Considering the work done and the rarity of these shoes, asking just £109, a steal, especially considering how much was spent to restore them, please bear in mind they have been restored and repaired or these would have been listed for well over £200.
