Historical & Collecting Context:

The dragon motif is a long-standing emblem of strength, authority, and imperial power in Chinese art. During the mid-20th century, Taiwanese porcelain factories reproduced classic Ming and Qing blue-and-white designs for both domestic use and international export. This teapot reflects that tradition, blending symbolic imagery with a distinctively bold form
