Vintage Alabaster Stone Wall Hanging Tile Antique Greek Gods.

This is a votive tablet from ancient Greece depicting a scene related to the healing god Asclepius.
The tablet shows a patient being treated by a figure, likely a priest or the god himself, while other figures look on.
The inscription at the top, "ΑΣΚΛΗΠΙΟΣ," identifies the god Asclepius.
The inscription at the bottom, "ΑΡΧΙΜΟΣ ΑΜΦΙΑΡΑΩΙ ΑΠΕΘΗΚΕ," translates to "Archimos dedicated this to Amphiaraos."
Such tablets were often left at healing sanctuaries as offerings to the gods in gratitude for a cure.
