Keladerm - a medical device with liposomal lactoferrin for skin discoloration resulting from iron accumulation.
Properties
The Keladerm medical device is a cream based on lactoferrin, a compound with metal ion-binding (chelating) properties. In certain situations, metals (e.g., iron, lead, zinc) accumulating in the skin trigger reactions leading to the formation of free radicals. Lactoferrin has the ability to be incorporated into liposomes, thanks to the use of an innovative technology covered by a European patent (Lipid technology), useful in the treatment of discolored lesions in the dermal-epidermal layer. This allows lactoferrin to demonstrate improved bioavailability and is more protected against denaturation.
The Keladerm product formula was developed for the local treatment of skin discoloration resulting from petechiae and postoperative petechiae, as well as hemosiderin discoloration following sclerotherapy. The cream is also effective for skin imperfections associated with chronic venous insufficiency and venous ulcers. It is also recommended for discoloration resulting from non-ablative laser, hair removal laser, and vascular laser use.
How to use Keladerm?
Apply Keladerm twice daily until symptoms subside.
What should you avoid combining Keladerm with?
Concomitant use of creams and products with ingredients similar to the Keladerm medical device is not recommended.
Is Keladerm safe for pregnant women?
If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before using Keladerm.

Intended use
Due to its antioxidant properties, Keladerm can be used for skin discoloration resulting from:
- petechiae,
- postoperative petechiae,
- hemosiderin discoloration following sclerotherapy,
- discoloration caused by chronic venous insufficiency and venous ulcers,
For external use only. Prolonged exposure may cause skin sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. The product should only be applied to intact skin. Using creams and/or products with similar ingredients at the same time may prevent the product from working effectively.
