The lens is a medium telephoto prime macro lens for Sony's full-frame and APS-C format A-mount cameras.

It is known for its excellent sharpness and high-quality macro capabilities.

The lens made in Japan, purchased brand new and used once for a few shots indoors. Not my thing.
