The hardcover of this book is in good or better condition, especially considering its age. Binding is very tight. Pages are still fairly white and free of any markings anywhere.
The book contains 29 lectures at or before 1945 when this book was published.  They have been transcribed and printed on paper.
If you look at the list of various speakers, you'll see not only E. M. Jelinek name come up many times. He wrote the Disease concept of Alcoholism; and contributed by giving 4 Lectures on alcoholism to this book. And the last Lecture in the book, being I'm sure saving the best till last, was given by W. W., who we know was William Wilson, aka: Bill Wilson, one of AA's cofounders. His 12-page story most reflects the history of Alcoholics Anonymous from Bill's final drinking days, to his last drunk, and then the tedious creation of AA.
