The staple length is up to 8 inches and it is strong fiber  

This is a lamb fleece and it is more medium than soft. 

Nice dark fleece, darker in person. Black with brown tips and some white and some silvering. 

It is quite clean tho there is vegetable matter. It is mostly small vegetable matter in the locks.  

Our fleeces are only lightly skirted, so it is possible to find taggy edges, vegetable matter, a few burrs in the outer coat, etc
