If you are buying from the USA, and having the item posted to the USA: due to new tariffs imposed by the current US administration there will be Import costs to pay which US Customs require to be paid before we can post the item to you. We can issue you a PayPal invoice for the amount, so please send us your PayPal email address when you pay for the item. Royal Mail will charge us for the Import duty and then pass it on to US Customs on your behalf.
The Import duties are as follows:
For items made in China: 35% + £1
For items made in the EU: 18% + £1
For items made in the UK: 13% + £1.
International buyers, please note: due to the fact that it has become so costly to post items to destinations outside the UK, we have decided to implement the eBay option not to accept returns from International buyers, unless of course we make a mistake. In the 15 years + that we have been trading on eBay we have only ever had two customers who have asked to return an item because they 'changed their mind, or bought the wrong item. This grey worm gear has a 1.6 mm diameter centre hole. We do also have ones available with the same pitch but with a 2 mm or a 2.2 mm centre hole.

Description: Hornby Grey Worm Gear for R070 Turntables. This worm gear has the same pitch as many Hornby 0-4-0 locos but the diameter of the centre hole at just 1.6 mm is smaller than the 2 mm centre hole that you find on many Hornby 0-4-0 locos. It fits the output shaft from one of Hornby's most common motors which has many different numbers, including X1846, X8202 and M2209.
You can look this worm up on a number of Hornby service sheets including ss178 for the R070 Turntable and on ss137 and ss219 for the class 58.
