This four-piece band consists of Anna (vocals), Toki (guitar/ex. Aldious), Miho (bass/ex. LOVEBITES), and Kano (drums).
Proclaiming themselves a "Global All-Female Metal Band from Japan," they challenge the Western metal scene through the universal language of "metal."
Blending Western sounds with Japanese melodies and blending electro music into their "post-melodic nu metal" identity, they are carving out a path to the world. Bilingual singer Anna's expansive and expressive voice, coupled with the heavy and loud sound of Toki, Miho, and Kano, will reverberate across the oceans and around the world. The band name is a contraction of Zilch (nothing) + Queen, meaning "Queen who belongs to no one." As women who guide the people who attend their live shows, they look to a future where they reign over the world.
On November 5th, 2025, they released their first EP, "Vacant Throne." They then held their debut live show on December 10th of the same year. In the winter of 2025, Zilqy's uprising to claim the vacant throne begins.
Their first EP, "Vacant Throne," is a collection of works that crystallizes the band's new challenge.
Sound production and arrangements are handled by former TOTALFAT member Kuboty, Crystal Lake drummer Gaku, Toshi-Fj, who began his music career in New York and has written for a wide range of artists, and guitarist Macky, a leader in the next generation of metalcore. The album embodies a global standard of metal and a new musical style.
Mixing and mastering were handled by Melbourne, Australia-based Lance Prenc. He has worked with world-famous metalcore bands such as Polaris, Alpha Wolf, and Thornhill, as well as a number of renowned Japanese artists, including Paledusk, Prompts, and Crystal Lake, and has firmly established himself as one of the key figures driving the modern metal sound.
