Filtering oil protects compressors from
damage by dirt, sand, rust pieces, etc.

element, wear down the bearings and
clog the oil-separator
The Bypass Valve is set to open at a
specific differential pressures
When the pressure difference becomes
too large, the Bypass Valve will open and
allow oil to flow, without going through
the oil-filter
