Antique copper letterpress plate mounted on a wooden block, 6" long, 2" wide, 1" thick, advertising "our Newest Watch", the Ingersoll-Trenton 7 jewel pocket watch, priced at $5, $7 or $9 according to the case. I think the open area at the bottom was for the local retailer's letterpress plate to be inserted as this was most likely a newspaper ad. Back side has a bit of dried adhesive from a piece of silver tape. I've reversed the images in photo shop for the first few photos to see how a  print of the block will look because the block print is negative.and its makes it easier to read.
