c1900 Hill & Co England for Ovington Bros 10" Gold Encrusted DINNER PLATES #13838

Add a touch of elegance to your dining table with these exquisite 10-inch dinner plates. These antique plates, made in England which used the H & Co (same as Haviland & Co so easy to confuse) as well as Hill & Co during the early 1900s from High Street to Stoke-on-Trent, feature a beautiful 1.5 inch deep gold encrusted flower pattern on the verge and on the center a garland of  pink roses and lavender stock flowers.  They were made for the high end US retailer, Ovington Brothers of New York with the hand applied stock mark of #13838.  These will be a showstopper on your table.

The Victorian-style plates are perfect for all occasions and will surely impress your guests. Hand wash only to maintain the glossy finish. The backstamp is printed, and the production technique is art pottery. This set of round dinner plates is perfect for collectors and those looking to add a touch of vintage charm to their home decor.

Enjoy!
