UK/GB STONEWARE PLINTHS & BRASS FEET
KEROSENE OIL LAMP BASE PARTS
PLINTH C #1. (231)
CONDITION – Good to Very good
If it wasn't for the three chips/flakes this would be in excellent condition. One is insignificant while the other two are 4-6mm. These are both on one side so can be faced to the back. I have coloured these to reduce visibility. There are no cracks or fractures.
There is feint surface crazing to the thick high gloss black glaze which is difficult to see unless viewing this piece from very close up and/or under direct intense light. It shows little or no signs of wear/use by way of scuffs/scratches.

PLINTH C #2. (VERITAS 231)
CONDITION – Excellent
No chips cracks or damage and little to no signs of wear/use by way of scuffs fine scratches etc. There is negligible feint surface crazing to the thick high gloss black glaze which is difficult to pick due to the very reflective high gloss finish.

BRASS #1
CONDITION – Fair
The cast iron slug/weight is in excellent condition. No cracks, breaks or repairs.
The brass component is pretty ordinary. Although there are no splits, cracks or repairs it is pitted/unevenly textured due to having been sealed and that seal being left on too long. These sealers tend to eat into the brass if left on for extended periods. It also has a lot of fine surface and a couple of medium scratches.
As is, it is ideal for man cave/rustic decor or for painting/refinishing. With a little time & effort (cut, buff & polish) this surface would be greatly improved.

BRASS #2
CONDITION – Good
This foot is solid (red) brass and has a slight pinkish hue. It will not need a slug/weight as it comes in close to a kilo.
Whilst it is crack, break and repair free it does have a few pits which would have occurred at the time of manufacture and is covered with fine surface scratches. With a little time & effort these scratches could be cut, buffed & polished out.

ALL BUYERS
Please note that if you are looking at or have purchased items from both of my sites I am happy to combine postage where possible. Please contact me prior to payment so postage can be adjusted.
Ebay's postage options are restrictive and costing is rarely accurate.
Please note that if you request a shipping quote I only charge for actual cost of shipping and will source the least expensive option as it is frequently (within Australia) less expensive to use a courier than Australia Post. I am happy to combine postage where possible.
If you are unsure of the accuracy of the displayed shipping cost please contact me BEFORE making payment because if, after payment, you find this component was more than it should have been I will not reimburse the balance.
Items which need extra attention/care (antiques, glass, delicate/fragile etc.) may require double boxing and therefore may cost more than the displayed shipping charges. The handling charge is to cover the cost of packaging etc. I use recycled packaging as much as possible.
If Ebay's calculations are less then I will look to you for the balance.
LOCAL BUYERS
Please note that I only use shipping methods which, as a bare minimum, include insurance and tracking . Unfortunately Ebay does not offer an option for Insurance so there may be an extra amount due to cover parcels above $100.00.
Items can be collected from KYNETON 3444. If you are not in a hurry I may be able to organise collection from SUNBURY 3429 - DIRECT DEPOSIT or CASH ON PICKUP
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
Please note that for your protection and added security I will only use shipping methods which include insurance, tracking and signature upon delivery. As, unfortunately, Ebay postage calculator options do not offer all of these necessities there is likely to be an extra amount needed to cover these. If this occurs I will look to you for the balance.
The buyer is responsible for all import and customs taxes/duties (if applicable) as these are not included in the shipping costs.
