Rare survival of a very fragile broadside (poster) intended to be attached on a surface for public display
Printed broadside written in Catalan dating from April 1714 just a few months before Catalonia’s defeat and the end of War of Spanish Succession (1702-1714). This war was a milestone in the history of Catalunya (Cataluña).
The proclamation demands tax contribution to the city of Girona for the subsistence of the Catalunya's Crown army. The individuals who do not comply will be executed…. Rare broadside.
