Octavo. viii, 9-868 pages including index. Hardcover. Bound im black cloth-covered boards with blind stamped frame on covers and stamped in gilt on spine.

Condition: VG+. Hinges solid, corners lightly bumped, light stain on rear free end paper. The spine strip is starting at the top rear, some color loss at the bottom of the covers (pictures look worse than they are).

Charles Evans (December 25, 1802 – April 20, 1879) was a physician at Friends Asylum and a member of the editorial board of The Friend (Phila.) from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
