Important Notes:
- Verify Part Number: Please double-check the part numbers to ensure compatibility with your vehicle model.
- Re-learning or Activation: These sensors must be activated either by using a scan tool or through the "re-learning" process, which is typically done after installation.
- Professional Installation: We recommend that a trained professional install these sensors to ensure proper functioning and avoid any potential issues.
Installation Instructions:
- Loosen the Tire: Begin by removing the valve cap and core, then deflate the tire.
- Dismount the Tire: Secure the tire on a tire changer, ensuring the valve is positioned at 1 o'clock relative to the tire separation head. Insert the tire tool to lift the bead onto the mounting head and separate the tire.
- Remove the Sensor: Use a screwdriver to remove the fastening screw from the valve stem and loosen the nut to detach the sensor.
- Install the New Sensor: Slide the new valve stem through the rim's valve hole. Tighten the screw-nut to 4.0 Nm using a positioning pin, then mount the sensor body against the rim and secure it with a screw.
- Mount the Tire: Carefully position the tire on the rim, ensuring the valve faces the separation head at a 180-degree angle. Mount the tire completely onto the rim.
Ensure Proper Functionality:
- After installation, the sensor should be activated using a scan tool or through the vehicle’s TPMS "re-learn" procedure. Please consult a professional for assistance.
