Holland America Line - A large fold-out ( 32" by 44") cruise brochure for the ROTTERDAM's 1934 July 4th cruise to the North Cape and Russia. The forty-four day cruise took a swing up to the Arctic Sea and then down the Scandinavian coast for a loop around the Baltic.
Holland America tied together three ship cliches when describing the aging vessel as "everything you could demand in a yacht, a country home, and a hotel." For good measure they also added "huge" and "steady".
Ship-specific photos show the "lovely" Palm Court, "vast" Dining Saloon, "grand" Staircase, plus the "Delft-tiled" Swimming Pool.
Fully open, Holland America provided a candy-colored treat of a deck plan. Seven decks are shown with all sorts of color-coding for cabin type and 3-D illustrations of eleven different cabins around the perimeter.
Very good condition with holes at the folds.
