Unusual esoteric item. The Mind in the Face: an introduction to the study of physiognomy. Third edition published possibly in 1887 by LN Fowler neatly dedicated in the authors hand to “Dr Douglas Kerr with kind regards from William McDowall 21st of May 1887”.

Condition is good. There is some chipping and wear to the spine edge and board corners with some light white marking to rear cover internally. The front paper is a little detached and the title page is becoming slightly detached otherwise the text is pretty clean with a little foxing throughout .
