From what I can tell, this is a first print copy of this book from 1951, no reference to edition, print, etc in the first pages. Decent shape for a 70+ year old book, binding is starting to show a little age but is still well held together. Typical yellowing, especially on the edges of the pages. Please refer to listing photos for the best idea of cosmetic condition. Hard cover, no dust sleeve - I am unsure if the first printing came with one.
