Up for sale here is this new replacement kit for the various large metal dual diodes that are found in many vintage receivers and amplifiers.  This will replace the SS-3, SS-3R, SS-5, SS-5R, S5151, S5151R, and anything similar.

This is the neatest little adapter board!  It is marked for common cathode (SS-3, S5151, etc) on one side and common anode (SS-3R, S5151R, etc) on the other side.  It comes with a pair of 10A 400v fast-recovery diodes (part FR1004GP) that fit it nicely.  Just stick them in the board, solder them to the board, cut off the top protruding parts, then solder those wires to the end holes, so you can install this in your board.  Nice and easy!  These are a drop-in replacement for the original, and will work perfectly.  You just need to assemble it, which is simple.

The first two pics show both sides of the board.  This listing is for 1 (one) board and 2 (two) diodes.  If you want to replace both of the large metal dual diodes (they're usually installed in pairs), just set the quantity to 2.
