This Listing is for a RARE Vintage Lefton Pair of Seagulls Perched on Rocks Figurine Made in Japan

The Figurine:
The figurine depicts two seagulls. One seagull is in a flying or landing pose with outstretched wings, while the other is perched or resting on the base.  It is a hand-painted porcelain characteristic of Lefton China figurines.
The seagulls are detailed with realistic coloring, predominantly shades of white, grey, and black on the wings and tails, with yellow accents on the beaks. The base has a natural, textured appearance, mimicking a rock. This piece is likely from the 1970's.

The Brand:
This brand was founded by George Zoltan Lefton in 1940 and is known for its collectible porcelain figurines,  and other decorative items, imported from Japan.
The inscription "Hand Painted" indicates that the item was individually decorated by hand, a common characteristic of Lefton pieces, adding to their collectible value.
The number "1832"  represents a mold or model number for the specific item the backstamp is on, rather than a date, as the company was founded in 1940. Lefton used various numbering systems for their different lines and items.
The crown symbol often seen on Lefton backstamps, is a common element of their branding, further identifying the piece as a product of Lefton China Co. in Japan.

Condition:
This figurine is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, damage or repair.
